The Oriental is the takeaway arm of Opium Bar Restaurant situated in the Lace Market.

Opium is an Award Winning Restaurant firmly established as one of the best Cantonese restaurants in the region, it continues to improve, setting the trends in both design and cuisine.

We aim to provide the same excellent fine dining food at The Oriental at a lower cost. Our expanded menu includes all the restaurant dishes plus more traditional take away food to suit everyone’s taste buds. However, if there are dishes you like that are not on our menu then please feel free to ask for them. We will try to accommodate if possible.

In our reception area there is free coffee & chilled mineral water available while you wait. Our food is available for collection or delivery (up to 5 miles).

All food is cooked fresh to order and will take approx. 10/15 minutes while you wait and delivery will take approx. 30/45 minutes. Though during peak times this may take a little longer.
